What is “Not a serious blog” (NASB)?
NASB is a blog that covers different topics with the aim of being an enjoyable reading for any kind of reader.
Where does the name come from?
As I said before, the blog covers various topics without following a line. It will jump from a post about my personal life to a product review and, as the name itself suggests, each post will be written in a register anything but serious.
What’s the idea behind NASB?
Originally, the blog was thought for info, advice and reviews of tech products but I didn’t want to target only readers interested in technology.
Most of the posts will be anyway about tech, for the sake of following the initial idea, but even in those there will be a twist keeping the "not serious" flow.
Why and what kind of reviews?
Checking on the web for products reviews, I realized that the majority of them are way too technical for average consumers. If you are not very familiar with a specific technology but you want/need to purchase a product, you might want to know if that product is worth your money. Giving a review based on the personal usage experience and the convenience of the product as an average buyer, it might help someone to make up his mind. That's why some review will also contain a prelude explaining why I came up looking for that product and the reasons behind that purchase.
The reviews are anyway opened to comments so I can answer technical and specific questions too but I won't focus the review itself on that.
Why not to focus on one specific topic?
As I wrote about myself here, my life is colorful and full of different experiences. An Italian guy, living in Hungary with his Polish girlfriend and their 2 crazy pets who jumped from being a hip hop dance teacher to be a Cisco network associate working in an IT company. I think this is enough to have a blog not focused on one specific topic.
Will it change in future?
Depending on the flow of readers and their feedback, the blog might keep this or take a different layout.
For the moment let’s see how this idea will go.
